Bonneville Dam Deck Modification

Project Description

This project required the removal and replacement of approximately 1,794 feet of the existing gantry crane rails located on the intake deck of the first powerhouse. In addition, the deck supporting the upstream crane was removed, and a cast-in-place beam was installed. The on-site work began in September 2002 and was scheduled to be conducted in three phases over three years; however, the work was completed in the fall of 2004.
